KBOI Exposes Pornography Links on Boise Weekly
Local Boise Talk Radio Station KBOI recently exposed a local weekly tabloid the Boise Weekly
for displaying links to pornographic material within easy reach of children. After recieving complaints about the pornography from the
radio station's callers, Bingo Barnes, the Boise Weekly Webmaster, decided to remove the links, but then mocked the efforts of the
radio station listeners by posting a banner in the header of his web page that said, "Boise Weekly - Porn Free - not as much fun as free porn
but it gernates less complaints." The banner linked to a graphic of a knight which encouraged people to become, "Porn Crusaders."
Mr. Barnes claims he recieved no complaints prior to KBOI's announcement and dismisses the assault as right wing agenda, however a simple review
of his forums shows that he had warnings where his forum users were voting whether to keep or remove the links. |
